African White-Backed Vulture - Tanzania Abstract Photography
A medium-sized vulture, the White-backed vulture (Gyps Africanus) has a wingspan of 1.96 to 2.25 m (6 to 7 feet) and uses those wings to soar the plains of sub Saharan Africa, in search of carrion. It's long neck, covered only in fine white down, allows it to reach deep into a carcass without getting dirty.
