1987 - "Mahsa and Artem are born in Tehran, Iran and Omsk, USSR. And both soon become trouble."

"Meanwhile in Russia, Artem becomes a successful member of a boy band trio keeping the entire hospital awake at night."
Year 2004 - "Mahsa and Artem meet each other at Jasper Place High School on April 14, through a mutual friend."
"They spend the rest of the school year having lunches together, with hot coffee in Artem's green thermos always at their lunch table."
"Their school days end with walks to the bus stop and riding the same bus. As they wait for the bus, Artem makes his first shy attempts to hold hands with Mahsa."
Year 2005 - "Mahsa and Artem both enter University, her studying Science and him studying Business. Unfazed by the difference between their degrees, they study together in the now gone V-wing at the UofA."
"When she's not looking, Artem secretly slips boxes of Russian chocolate in Mahsa's notes to make her studying sweeter."
Year 2006 - "Artem discovers something that will help him win some major brownie points with Mahsa's father: the British sci-fi TV show Doctor Who. The world's longest-running TV show (since 1963!) will later create a bond that spans across generations."
"At the same time, Artem warms up to bowties, as the Doctor decreed that 'Bowties are Cool'. Unfortunately, Artem hasn't quite graduated to fezzes yet..."
Year 2007 - "Artem finally jumps aboard the Harry Potter bandwagon, just in time as Mahsa finishes the final book."
"Mahsa shows Artem The Prisoner of Azkaban, which, to this day, continues to be his favourite movie of the series."
"At the same time, she keeps messing with him by making up endings for each movie that have nothing to do with the script."
Year 2008 - "Artem and Mahsa start officially dating on March 15. Yet, with Mahsa still being shy about dating, their first 'dates' are simply studying together over cups of Tim Hortons coffee."
"The first official date happens only a few weeks later at Block 1912 on Whyte Avenue. Artem could not have picked a better way to win Mahsa's heart than to take her for the best Italian Gelato and #coffee in town."
Year 2009 - "Artem and Mahsa meet each other's parents over barbeque at their respective homes. They discover the differences between the Persian and the Russian styles of barbeque."
"Artem and Mahsa's dad find yet another thing they can bond over: their boundless love for Coke. Of course, Mahsa's mom and Mahsa do not approve, so the guys find a way to drink Coke in secret by hiding it in tea cups."
Year 2010 - "Mahsa graduates from her first University degree and forever becomes known in Mahsa and Artem's texts as the 'graduate baby'."
"At the celebration of Mahsa's graduation, Mahsa and Artem's parents meet for the first time and bond over delicious koftes at the Sofra Turkish Restaurant."
"The first family bond is formed."
Year 2011 - "Artem proposes to Mahsa on the shore of frozen Lac Tremblant in the mountain resort of Mont-Tremblant, Quebec on January 15. Just like she dreamed (except the frozen part)."
"It took Mahsa five very long seconds to respond, as she simply froze in one place. And then, after what seemed like an eternity, her brain finally went: 'Oh right, I'm supposed to say something'."
Year 2012 - "Artem gives Mahsa a surprise Persian New Year Gift: a trip to her dream country, Scotland. Over six short days, they traverse the country from top to bottom, capping it off with an 11-hour driving marathon from the Isle of Skye to Manchester, England."
"During this trip, Artem also discovers that his heart melts to pieces at the sight of a baby lamb."
Year 2013 - "Artem and Mahsa spend two unforgettable weeks in Artem's favourite country in the world, Sweden."
"Over the course of a week, they drive over 1,300 km, gradually climbing further and further up north until they spend a night watching the midnight sun at 68* N latitude in Abisko."
"During this trip, Mahsa's childhood dream comes true, as she spends a night in a tree house."
Year 2014 - "Artem and Mahsa go through the biggest milestone in their lives yet, as they move to the city of Toronto to allow Mahsa to pursue the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Canada's only English-speaking chiropractic school."
"Mahsa and Artem also travel to Iceland, where they circle the entire country, eat rotten shark, ride snowmobiles on Europe's largest glacier and wash their feet - with Mahsa daring Artem - in the icy waters of Jokulsarlon."
Year 2015 - "Mahsa and Artem begin their most exciting journey yet, as they get married at the Magrath Mansion and Windermere Golf and Country Club, in Edmonton, on July 4."
