Zenia & Paul - A Perfect Day or Two
Paul: "When I saw Zenia for the first time, I knew I had to get the chance to talk to her. Although my initial approach to talk to her may have not been as smooth as I liked, our first date went wonderful. We lost track of time and ended up hanging out and talking for hours. We both haven't run out of things to talk since then. When I discovered Zenia was still finishing up her last year of law school in Saskatoon I figured the long distance may have been a challenge. However, even with those long solo drives to Saskatoon, the fact that I got to see her at the end of those long drives was always worth it! I am so happy Zenia entered my life and am so grateful to be marrying such a beautiful and wonderful woman."
It's a good morning, indeed.
And more so because Sunita is here to help the bride to be with the preparations:
The girls arrive early at the Nanaksar gurdwara in North Edmonton and Zenia has to hide before the groom's family shows up.
Zenia: "I knew very early on in our relationship that one day I would marry Paul! During our first year of dating, I was attending law school in Saskatoon and not once did it ever feel like we were in a long distance relationship. Paul would come visit me every chance he would get. A few times he surprised me by showing up without informing me first! He has never missed an opportunity to let me know how special I am to him. I am so happy and excited to marry Paul, and feel extremely blessed to have him as my life companion!"
In the same time, the boys are getting ready in St. Albert.
And we're off to the temple:
You know the expression "look, but don't touch"? This is exactly the same, but the other way around:
As usual, a photo shoot follows the ceremony, right in the middle of the sunny day:
But we're safe, as refreshments arrive:
So we can play some more around the Legislature building:
Best use of a comb and some spit:
It says 'A Perfect Day' and it's Zenia's lipstick for today:
Doli is next, and the bride's maids are very welcoming:
Paul and his guys gently pay the fee to go in:
In small bills, all on the ground:
That's exactly how they are not getting in.
The newlyweds are so close they can almost touch:
And he's in:
Only to take his wife away:
To St. Albert:
Next day we all start fresh at the Delta Hotel:
New look by the same talented Sunita:
And this is me, in a creative moment:
For an untrained eye this may seem an innocent glass of wine. It is, in fact, an early sign of an outrageous party:
You can tell these shots are not posed by how serious everyone is:
Time to hit the town.
But first we have to get down the stairs:
Ladies and gentlemen, the freshest and wildest couple in town:
Intimate backdrop by Urban Affairs:
The second part of the evening is underway and nobody can stop us now:
This happens:
Then this:
Uncle Jager in the house:
Then this comes naturally:
If there's no more room inside, you can find other convenient locations for your drink:
Or you can share it with others:
Then, somehow, this happens. Hey, you can't say no to a bride who is also a lawyer:
After that I can't remember what happened, but let's look at the pictures. It appears that Paul is being prepped up for a particular activity:
So the mother of dance off's begins:
The cheering is just as entertaining as the dances:
The crowds go crazy:
And control is lost:
Some cloths are lost, as well:
Congratulations one more time, Zenia and Paul!
Thank you so much for an amazing week! The midnight Poutine truck is the cherry on top:
