Seema & Hector - Drink Up and Be Married

  Seema: "We met about 6 years ago at a mutual friend's New Year's Eve party. Hector immediately fell in love with me. That night was the beginning of our love and relationship. From that day on we have been inseparable! We share many things in common, such as drinking, socializing, laughing, music, and best of all, each other. Here we are today, in love, happy and grateful to have each other."
  So let the drinking wedding festivities begin:









I never had the opportunity to shoot inside the Wedgwood Room at Fairmont's Hotel Macdonald.
It's intimate and beautiful, but Seema makes it spectacular:

There's a story behind those rings, but it's not mine to tell:
  Well, I can't help it. Do you see the rock that's barely hanging onto Hector's finger? That's not his ring. In fact, someone forgot both wedding bands in the hotel room, so they used some random rings from the audience for the ceremony:

Farah & Rahim - Ismaili Wedding at the Sheraton Cavalier

Farah: "On our first date, he showed up an hour late, and our first stop was a gas station; only to realize he forgot his wallet! Needless to say, it was no ordinary first date. Ruppy & Indy - Punjabi Wedding at the Magnolia in Calgary

This year I had more weddings in Calgary than Edmonton, and the Ramada has become one of my second homes. But this is not about that. This is about a Punjabi love story filled with emotions, hunting trophies and party light sticks. It starts as expected, with the bride getting ready at her home. Before anyone else, she makes her way inside the gurdwara, where she'll go into hiding for a couple of hours or so, waiting for everyone else to come. Meanwhile, at the groom's home, Ella's feeling creative: A bright red, royal turban is growing in front of everybody's eyes: Oh, deer: Apparently, everybody is in a hurry to get to the temple, hence all the sports cars: The milni takes place under Ruppy's undetected supervision.
